This Privacy Policy explains how the Diagnosa HP application ("App") treats your data. The core principle is simple: your phone’s diagnostic data stays on your phone.
11. Data the App Processes
Diagnosa HP reads the following data directly from your device’s system to display it to you:
• Device info: model, chipset, OS version, screen resolution, uptime.
• Storage & RAM: total, used, and remaining space/memory.
• Battery: level, temperature, voltage, charging status, estimated health.
• Network: connection type, signal strength, WiFi name (SSID), speed test results.
• Sensors & hardware: results from gyroscope, compass, touchscreen, speaker, microphone, and similar tests.
• History you create yourself inside the App: speed test history and Phone Condition Reports.
All of the data above is processed and stored locally in the App’s storage on your device. Diagnosa HP does not send this data to any server operated by the developer, and does not share it with any third party.
22. Permissions Requested
The App only requests a permission when the related feature is actually about to be used, and shows an explanation screen first. Permissions it may request:
• Location — required by Android/iOS to read the currently connected WiFi name (SSID). Your precise location is never stored or transmitted anywhere.
• Notifications — to show the real-time speed meter in the status bar (Android) via a foreground service.
• Camera — for the QR/barcode scanner feature in the Toolbox.
• Microphone — for the microphone test feature under the Tests tab.
• Motion/physical activity sensors — to read the gyroscope, accelerometer, and related sensors.
• Local network — for the feature that scans devices on the same WiFi network.
You can decline any permission; the related feature will simply be hidden or marked "Not available" without crashing the App.
33. Third-Party Services Used
Two features in the App require an internet connection to a third-party server to function:
• Speed test — measures download/upload/ping using a public test endpoint. This request only contains the network data needed for testing, not your personal identity.
• Public IP & ISP info — the App calls a public IP lookup service to show an estimated ISP and city, using the IP address you’re currently using.
These connections happen directly between your device and that provider; Diagnosa HP does not store or relay the results to any server of its own.
44. Analytics (optional) & No Ads
Diagnosa HP shows no ads and contains no advertising SDK or ad tracker.
Only if you allow it, the App and this website use Google Analytics (Firebase Analytics in the App) to count anonymous usage: which screens and pages are opened and which features are used, together with the app version, language, device type and approximate region that Google derives. It never includes your phone's diagnostic data (storage, RAM, battery, sensor or test results), your files or your precise location.
Analytics is off until you allow it. You can change your choice at any time: in the App under Settings → Privacy, and on the website through the “Analytics settings” link in the footer. Turning it off stops all collection.
Google processes this data under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). We do not use Google Signals or ad personalization.
55. Your Control Over Your Data
Because all data is stored locally, you stay in full control:
• Speed test history and Phone Condition Reports can be deleted at any time from the Settings menu.
• Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data.
• When you share a Phone Condition Report (as an image/PDF), you decide where and to whom that file is sent.
66. Children’s Privacy
Diagnosa HP is not directed at children under 13 and is not designed to knowingly collect personal data from children.
77. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time as the App’s features or platform requirements (Google Play/App Store) change. The last update date is shown at the top of this page.
